This seemingly supernatural phenomenon has engrained itself in my mind to the extent that it has begun to function as a literal beacon, signifying my presence in the familiar, the canny, the homely.
Wherever I call home, the sun sets twice.
After the sun sets, thousands of lights of hundreds of greenhouses alight the clouds a second time. This is the case in both my hometown, Almere, and the only other place that has felt like home to me, The Hague.
